Artist Reception : Tatianna Hechavarria

Model and artist Tatianna Hechavarria explores the juxtaposition between the struggles of life and the beauty of death. This exploration can be seen in her Untitled Series which will be showcasing this Sunday only at Ground Floor Junction.

Based in downtown Los Angeles, Shauna is a fine artist whose work is collected internationally. She studied at Columbia College in Chicago and with Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Living in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina, she's traveled throughout the US working as an RF engineer before moving to California to focus solely on her paintings in 2006. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2014, her work has been shown in the San Diego Art Institute, Palm Springs Fine Art Fair, Woman's Essence Paris 2022, Affordable Art Fair New York, The Other Art Fair in Santa Monica as well as galleries in Los Angeles and France. She's developed and created large scale commissions for fine dining restaurants and luxury hotels in Los Angeles and Miami. My artwork has also been featured in Art of The Times Magazine, Bellus Magazine, Nice-Matin, and Spotlight Magazine and is held in private collections in the United States, England, France, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland, and Japan.

The sonic performance will be a live looping session and interactive DJ set where guests can interact with the sculptures and Katie will create generative audio from the interactions / mix with a sonic palette, loops and curated music.

The night will include the exclusive release of a limited edition handcrafted figurine by Shamon Cassette Re-imagined by images photographed by @dancefloormurder in conjunction with the release of the Topps trading card.

Also on exhibition and for sale will be the original mood board collages constructed and implemented during the writing and recording process of Shamon's upcoming album "BLADES OF STEEL 2" Limited quantities of "BLADES OF STEEL 1" will be available on cassette along with rad give aways from our sponsors @stidesofficial

The night will be topped off with a Live Beat Set by Al Lover, a special performance by @zamboni_zound_zyztem with surprise guest, and Shamon may even turn up with a crate of their favorite records or tapes to rinse....
